The theatre group enjoys attending a wide variety of performances, mainly of a high quality.
We mainly patronise the Festival, King’s and Lyceum Theatres, but make the occasional visit to the Playhouse, Traverse, Brunton, the Eastgate in Peebles and the Usher Hall. During the Edinburgh Festival Fringe we always have a day out and the venues and genres are quite diverse. The group has over thirty members, twenty of whom thoroughly enjoyed our annual post-Christmas lunch.
New members are always welcome. We meet in Penicuik Library to select productions to attend, to pay for tickets we have ordered and to decide on the date for the next meeting. Our meetings are always held on a Friday between 3 and 4pm, but only as required, as we book well ahead in order to obtain good seats.
