Holidays and Day Trips
Convenors: Jackie Kerr and Pat Fackrell
All forthcoming holidays and some Day trips/events are arranged for our members by the Convenors Pat Fackrell and Jackie Kerr under the "OUT & ABOUT NEWPORT" Group.All holidays are announced at the History Group,Gardening and Wildlife Groups,in addition full details are emailed to all members and are advertised on the Notice board in U3A.
Annually we aim to arrange one holiday in the UK and one holiday in Europe, the itineraries are tailor made to cover the subjects in our u3a from History/Gardening & Wildlife and Walking Groups.The holidays are only open to members of our U3A and their partner/friend to share a Twin room.
All social activities including holidays/some day trips and social events are arranged by" Out&About Newport" group and are advertised in the same way.
The attached pages highlight the current list of holidays/trips, if the holiday is shown as full, we hold a reserve list for people to slot into any cancelled places.
