During COVID lockdowns from March 2020 to June 2021, we were unable to meet face to face indoors for the majority of this period. However our members contributed articles which were published in a magazine entitled DESERT ISLAND TIMES (DIT). 38 DITs were published in all, any of which can be read by clicking on the links below.
Much of this content seems to me to be still relevant as I write this in March 2023, especially the factual articles, short stories and quizzes. Most of the articles are also illustrated with photographs.
Happy reading especially to new members who might find Desert Island Times interesting as it paints a true picture of how we behaved and kept ourselves busy during lockdown. Other members may wish to reminisce?
