We are just trying to establish the group at the moment and we’re looking for suggestions so we’ll be happy to receive your feedback after the initial session.
We are still hoping to keep the “Singing for Fun” aspect of the group rather than a formal choir.
At the moment we are looking for a musician (maybe guitar or keyboard player) to enable us to run the group in a similar format to the way in which Pauline Roper ran the original Singing for Fun group.
If we’re unable to secure the services of a musician then we will have to have a similar format to Ashton u3a’s Singing for Pleasure group whereby they play the song choices through an amplifier via Spotify/MP3 player.
If you or someone you know would be interested in playing a musical instrument for our group please let me know as soon as possible.
