Singing for Fun

Facilitator:Pauline Roper07778 215470
Venue & time:Leigh Miners1pm - 3pm2nd & 4th Monday

"The Spice of Life" Chorus

We meet between 1pm and 3pm, usually upstairs in the Ballroom but please check the notice board downstairs...

The purpose of the group is to have fun through singing. Our repertoire is designed to cater for all tastes, with songs from the shows, pop songs from the 50’s and 60’s, blues and some pre 40’s standards too. We’re also learning country and folk songs and even throwing in some silly songs too!

For anyone thinking “It sounds really interesting but I don’t think I can sing”, then pluck up the courage please and come and see! We have a range of singing abilities within the group and there are no auditions as such. All Pauline needs to hear is what range you sing in so you can sit with people in the same range. Of course, if you have had singing experience and particularly if you know how to harmonise, brilliant! Most people haven’t sung for years so as long as you want to sing and have some fun, come and join us.
