What we do: most months we undertake a group visit with the aim of focussing (pun intended!) on a location, subject and/or technique e.g. nature, architecture, historical sites, etc.

Each month a group member (or two) undertake to select an activity/site and organise the visit. Photographs are then submitted for display on our website.

Each year before Christmas we organise an anonymous Image of the Year non-competitive competition. Firstly, voting within the group and then opening voting up to our whole u3a membership.

2024 Activity Programme: The aim is for individual/shared group members to take responsibility for organising ONE meeting during the year.

Next Activity: Monday 21 September 2024; Organiser: Marion Coleman
Garden visit Marion has graciously opened her garden so that the group can practice close up/macro photography - flowers, insects and other bugs! Thank you Marion.

Lee Valley White Water Rafting: Terry King has offered to organise a visit, separate to our normal monthly meeting. 6 members have expressed interest so far and Terry is planning to circulate a list of potential dates and timing. Water usually runs on Thursday to Sunday - we have to ensure that there will be people using the water! Thank you Terry.
