Notes for those interested in joining this group
1. Anyone who wants to "try out" Washington Village u3a can attend one monthly meeting and one interest group meeting before deciding whether to join us. Annual membership costs £15. More information about membership is on our Welcome page. Please note that there is a fee to attend some group sessions.
2. Regardless of whether you are a current or prospective Washington Village u3a member: BEFORE attending this group please contact the "Group Leader" (click on the envelope to send a message) to ensure that there is space.

We are a small friendly group aimed essentially for beginners though members fairly fluent in Spanish are welcome to attend.
The intention is to practice from a phrase book and to this end there is a reasonably priced one available on AMAZON which can be downloaded onto a kindle or purchased as a book. The book is :- 'Eyewitness Travel Phrase Book Spanish: Essential Reference for every Traveller' (DK Eyewitness Phrase books). The price is £2.99
An additional benefit of this book is that there is an associated free app to download which provides audio clips of relevant phrases.
