1. Anyone who wants to "try out" Washington Village u3a can attend one monthly meeting and one interest group meeting before deciding whether to join us. Annual membership costs £15. More information about membership is on our Welcome page. Please note that there is a fee to attend some group sessions.
2. Regardless of whether you are a current or prospective Washington Village u3a member: BEFORE attending this group please contact the "Group Leader" (click on the envelope to send a message) to ensure that there is space.

The aim of the group is to help members explore the history of their families by using free and paid for websites that detail the birth, marriages and deaths of our ancestors.
Have you received a DNA analysis for yourself or a relative? Do you need help in interpreting the data? How else can you use the data? Which supplier should you buy an analysis from? How can it complement conventional documentary research? John Edwards and I are hosting sessions focusing on DNA and family history.
