Group information

Most group pages feature an envelope logo on the right which you can click on to send a message to the Group Leader. On mobile devices this logo may be at the bottom of the page.

Our members usually join one or more Interest Groups. These groups are formed and run by Washington Village u3a members themselves.
See below for the groups that are currently operating: those 'highlighted yellow’ are new; those 'greyed out' are currently full.
Click on the group name to go to the relevant page. Group Leaders can be contacted by email by clicking on their name (if in blue), or by telephone (if the number is listed).

Reciprocal Arrangement
Washington Village u3a have formed a 'Network' with other local u3as namely, Washington, Wessington, Cestria and Houghton-le-Spring, whereby members can access groups run by these u3as without having to join them. (see the Network page for further information, links to the other groups and the 'Network Protocol')

(Please Note: BEFORE attending any group the relevant 'Group Leader' must be contacted to ensure that you can be accommodated within the group.)

N.B. Anyone who wants to "try out" Washington Village u3a can attend one monthly meeting and one interest group meeting before deciding whether to join us. Annual membership costs £15. More information about membership is on our Welcome page. Please note that there is a fee to attend some group sessions.
