Traditional and Contemporary Folk, Country, Blues and Jazz etc.
An untutored group of intermediate or more experienced musicians coming together every 2nd and 4th Friday at 2.00pm for two hours.
Exploring musically an eclectic mix of the recorded works of artists past and present including, for example, the genres of traditional folk, country, ragtime blues and country rock.
Artists such as Blind Blake, Reverend Gary Davis, Mississippi John Hurt, Ry Cooder, James Taylor, John Renbourn. Bert Jansch, Paul Simon, Ralph McTell and so on!
One aim, other than having fun playing together, would be to consider performance.
Date/Time/Venue: 2nd and 4th Fridays, 2 - 4pm in Whitstable.
