Cercle Francais
Title: Cercle Francais Max: 6 Sessions: 6
Facilitator: Peter Graves-Morris
Our group is currently paused, but we hope to be back as soon as possible!
Description: The Cercle Francais is a group for people who would like to improve their spoken French in a friendly atmosphere. We would like to increase our membership to about six people who typically speak some French. We choose our activities to suit one another: We begin by reading short articles of interest that we bring to the group, discussing them and then we simply chat together more in French than in English.
Our twin aims are using the French language and being sociable in that context. Our principal activity is conversation, and so the group is paused until we can resume natural meetings. A few of us have formed the Phoney Group who chat a little in French but more in English from time to time on Thursday mornings. Please contact Peter Graves-Morris if you would like to join this group.
Meetings are at Peter’s house and they last about 90 mins which includes a tea/coffee break.
Venue: Chestfield. One doorstep to enter house, some parking in drive or nearby on side roads or No. 5 bus.
Sessions: First preference: Thursdays, fortnightly, 10.30 – noon.
Alternative: By agreement.
