Contemporary Music Sessions: Monthly

Formerly known as Progressive Rock Appreciation, our members felt that a change of name was necessary as we wanted to broaden the spectrum of music that we listen to at meetings. Our group is dedicated to celebrating and sharing our broad musical interests, which can range across rock, jazz, soul, maybe even some classical – as long as it’s good, interesting and (generally) post-1970; playing favourite tracks, discussing bands, venues etc, all whilst enjoying a coffee, biscuits and occasional cake! We meet in each other’s houses for a couple of hours, from 10:30am -12:30 noon, once a month.
