Outings

Our group offers a range of Outings that, hopefully, will appeal to wide and diverse interests. All Outings are informal and some may require a GSOH to get the best result. The object of the Group is simply to meet new people and share new experiences.
Fact Sheets will become available for all planned Outings and will be shown on the links to the right. Each Outing will be published as an event and will appear in the Dates for your Diary section below and also on the main Events page. As plans evolve, so will the event information, so please check regularly for updates.
Suggestions for new outings are always welcome.
To book one or more places please check the Booking Procedures and then send us an Outings Reservation form. Places are allocated on a first paid first go basis.
Refunds are not normally available for payments made to coach companies etc. or to third party venues.
All Outings are for Saxon Shore u3a members only – guests can be included if and when spare seats are available.

| Thu May 16th | Chatham Dockyard and Call The Midwife Tours. Cost £44 pp. Please contact John for more information/register interest. |
| Thu Jun 6th | Trip to Rye Harbour and Town. Cost £17 pp. Many sights to see in Rye, including, Historic sites, churches, Antique shops, Farmers Markets, Museums, Architecture, Art galleries and other interesting places. The Harbour has a Nature Reserve, boats and beaches. |
| Wed Jul 24th | Trip to Hever Castle, home of Anne Boleyn, wife of Henry the eighth. Cost, including entrance to the Castle and guided tour, is £41 pp. You will also have access to all of the gardens during the day. |
