Strollers
Strollers meet on the third Thursday morning of the month. Walks are gentle and easy, relatively flat as far as possible and no more than 3 miles, with pauses as necessary. Suitable for those who enjoy walking but don’t wish to walk too far, too fast, or too steeply. Where possible, walks will include a café! Details of the walk will be emailed to participants a few days before each walk.

Report of Stroller’s June Walk:
June 16th 2022
Ten of us had a lovely gentle stroll along the far side of the river at Corbridge, passing the Roman settlement on the way back. Some of us walked up to peer over the fence at the settlement, and vowed to return for a proper visit later.
Along the river, Jack knew many bird calls, and Jenny and Kathy identified wild flowers for us. The weather was perhaps the warmest this year, with plenty of sunshine.
We all trooped into a cafe (Spokes Kitchen) in Corbridge for a leisurely lunch before returning to the cars at the riverside car park. A lovely day.
