Prudhoe & District AGM, Monday 3rd June at 10 am Parish Hall

Please check the Event page for details and paperwork for our upcoming AGM. We would encourage as many members as possible to attend. The business should be completed fairly quickly and then we have our speaker and refreshments as usual.

Prudhoe & District u3a extends a warm welcome to all. We are based on Prudhoe Front Street in the Parish Hall (St. Mary Magdalene Hall, NE42 5HH) where we meet monthly on the last Monday with members from all walks of life, both retired and those working part time. There is no lower or upper age limit. Our u3a is about meeting up with others to share educational, creative and leisure activities.

Our Monday meetings run from 10am until noon. We usually have a speaker with refreshments and a chance to socialise. There are about 160 members and have been running since 2007.

As well as monthly meetings, there are outings (see the Events page to get a taste), visits and social events throughout the year. There are 20+ interests groups which meet up regularly, which members organise within their group. These offer a variety of opportunities to keep active, develop new skills, learning for fun and a chance to meet new people. Our groups include a thriving Naturewatch group, book groups, walking and a newly formed Eco Group. Please see the Groups Page for full details.
