Walks
Here are the details for our next walks:
Thursday 21st July at 10am – Ansty (4 miles)
A nice figure-of-8 walk to the south-east of Ansty. This is taken from the 4Sight Vision Support walks book, which is excellent. A couple of low stiles.
(Day and date to be confirmed nearer the time)
Meet at: Ansty Village Hall, RH17 5AS
Leader: Chris Coates
August – To be confirmed - any offers ?
Friday, 9th September, at 10 am – Woodingdean Valley Nature Reserve (4 miles approx.)
A walk with lovely views, no stiles. Being a valley you go down, but it is a gentle slope back up.
There should be many wild flowers. We hope to see the sunflower fields again – they were wonderful last year,
Meet at car park at north end of Woodingdean; map ref. TQ 356064
From the A27 take the B2123 at Falmer by Sussex University, and follow this road, sign posted to Woodingdean and Rottingdean.
Go along that road for about 1 mile, and just past the 30 sign, turn into the Car Park on your left.
(If you come to Bexhill Road, on your eft, you have gone too far.)
If the car park is full, there are usually spaces in Bexhill Road.

We also have a Strollers group - led by Margaret Carroll (margaretcarroll@talktalk.net)
They do shorter walks of about 2 miles starting from various points in Burgess Hill
These walks are designed for those who perhaps can’t manage the longer distances. These are now back on Monday evenings
All members are very welcome to join either, or both, walking groups
