Line Dancing
A new Line Dancing group is now available for all members to join. Starting on Friday November 24, it will be every Friday morning at 11.45am at the Bishop’s Park Community Centre.
Tutor for the group is Helen Nicholls, an experienced ballroom, Latin, movement and dance teacher who also runs Line Dancing classes for Stansted and Buntingford U3As.
It will be a beginner’s class with a varied style of line dance – some traditional and some more up to date styles which have a Latin theme.
The routines will be taught at a pace to suit the majority of attendees and will always be repeated. Dances can be adapted to suit needs and ability so everyone has the chance to join in.
Helen says: “We will gradually build up a selection of different dances over several weeks. It doesn’t matter if anyone misses a week as I will always go over every dance.”
Cost of the one-hour sessions is £5 on a pay-as-you-go basis.
