The walking group has developed some self-guided walks. Several of you have already walked many of the walks and given positive feedback. Over the lockdown period we now have over 50 self-guided walks and more are in the pipeline. I have put them under a tab on the RHS Self-guided walks. I welcome your input and suggestions for more walks. Each walk must start and finish at a non-busy place. Ideally it should be within 20 miles distance from our base at Thorley. It can be any length from a couple of miles to as long as you want. Each walk should have a map, and a sheet of instructions. The idea being you can print the map and instructions on two A4 sheets (or back to back printing) and put them into a clear sleeve. As people send me feedback on the walks I can keep the instructions up to date. If you cannot generate a map, please let me know and I will do it for you.

On the RHS I have added a page of links to other walking groups that publish walks in our area, and some all over the country. If you come across a website that you found for walking please let me know and I will add it to the collection.

New walkers are always welcome to come and join our group. There is no charge for the walks.

Stay safe.

Happy walking. Richard
