Shaftesbury & Gillingham

Music Appreciation

The group meets in each others home and the host normally puts a programme together, usually 2 hours with a break for tea and biscuits.

We listen and talk about various pieces of music be it classical or jazz. Sometimes we will watch a DVD or a recording such as a Proms concert.

Very occasionally we will have a group session where everybody will bring one or two of their own choices.

We are a lively group and we are always learning something new. No knowledge or experience required - just love of a good tune.
