Computer Group
The past year has shown how computers can be useful or even essential. Many of us have been using our computers for banking, shopping, entertainment and most importantly keeping in touch with family and friends. The computer group will explore how to use computers effectively and securely.
We pan to have two kinds of sessions:
1. Class sessions: Taking the form of lectures or talks, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
Venue. St Mary's Centre, Eltham High Street.
Time. 10:30 am to 12:30.
Dates:
28th April 2022.
12th May 2022
26th May 2022
9th June 2022
23rd June 2022
7th July 2022
2. Tailor made 1 to 1 sessions by arrangement will be continuing in the new year:
If you have a problem using a computer, or difficulties using a piece of software, we may be able to advise you. Send an email to U3AComputerClub@gmail.com quoting your membership number, telling us if you would like help with anything.
If we are able to help, we can arrange a meeting at a convenient coffee shop or a library for a one-to-one session, for one to two hours.
If you have used Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Meeting or Skype, you might prefer to arrange a virtual session at a convenient date and time. If you have a tower or desk top computer, this option might suit you best.
