Nature Appreciation
We are fortunate in that we live in one of the most beautiful parts of the country with so much going on around us. Not only in the countryside, but also in gardens in the towns and villages as well.
The aim of the group is to observe/record/identify/photograph/sketch (or any of the above!) and compile a monthly report on our findings
This will include: Flowers/plants/shrubs/birds/fungi/insects etc. And anything else that catches our eye!
The group meets on the third Monday of each month and we plan to visit various locations of interest.
For the first half of this year our planned visits are as follows:
20th February - The RSPB Bird Hide in Bowling Green Marsh, Topsham
20th March - Visit Honiton Bottom Nature Reserve
17th April - Return visit to members garden in Luppitt - Small lake and organic field (Last visit July 2022)
15th May - Visit members garden near Cotleigh
19th June - Return visit to Knapp Copse (Last visit October 2022)
