WINE TASTING FOR FUN
Our group, currently approaching twenty in number, started in February 2020, continuing throughout the following 18 months on ZOOM, and from then on meeting face to face. We are by no means wine experts. Our main aim is to share the enjoyment of wine and make new friends, while learning a little about our subject along the way.
Our meetings each have a “theme”, which have included a “Wine and Film Quiz”, “Don’t turn up your Nosé at Rosé”, “Wine Memories” and a focus on particular countries or grape varieties.
Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month, starting at 7pm and we also hold occasional outings for wine tastings and restaurant meals, with an emphasis on matching the wine and food of particular countries.
