Current affairs discussion.
We are a very friendly group who enjoy commenting on the issues of the day.
More importantly, we enjoy offering our solutions to correct those ‘mistakes’ plus laughing at the cartoons cut from newspapers.
Any subject is up for discussion, from Local, to National or International. Each one is treated with the same importance.
Each month one of our members leads the discussion throwing out current news items to provoke comments. A wide spectrum of views is usually forthcoming. Some members may disagree but we respect everyone’s right to voice their opinion.
We meet on the 1st Wednesday of the month between 10am and 12.00 at the Methodist Hall in Chapel St, Honiton. Refreshments and chat as we gather: then we put the world to rights!
Currently we number about 18 but new members are always welcome. We also encourage the curious to come along for a sample session.
