Honiton u3a Book Group 2
This is a new book group. We function in the same way as the other existing groups by sourcing sets of ten books a month from Exeter library. We picked a selection of titles for the next twelve months at our inaugural meeting in August. For this we pay a small fee twice a year.
Our first meeting at the Beehive café was very enjoyable and the discussion of the book wide ranging. We look forward to meeting once a month from October 2023 onwards.
Our members have been invited to bring along other books that they can recommend – the idea being that we can loan them to each other. This way we encourage one another to try authors we might not otherwise choose.
It is only possible to have books in sets of ten so I have started a waiting list for anyone who would like to join the group.
