Established in September 2014, aims to help its members add to their enjoyment of photography by providing opportunities for them to increase their knowledge and skill in the use of both camera and computer.
The group caters for differing levels of experience among its membership whilst seeking to widen their photographic horizons through the use of illustrated talks, photo-editing software demonstrations and audio-visual presentations. It is also envisaged that the group will 'leave the nest' and go out and about by linking up with some of our other groups such as 'Heritage' and 'Architecture' This would offer great opportunities for using newly acquired skills in interesting and useful ways.
From time to time members have been invited to submit examples of their work for publication on this website. The most recent theme being "birds". Click on any of the images to see them full size and then navigate through the gallery we have created.
It is our intention to change the theme every few months so don't leave it too long if you want to view the birds.
Meetings are held from 200.pm to 4.00pm on the 2nd Friday of each month
