----- The Heatons and Reddish U3A run a series of events throughout the year as well as the monthly Coffee Mornings. Throughout the year, on prescribed months, speakers are engaged to talk to the Branch on numerous interesting and humorous topics and a programme is available during the year.
Visits are made to interesting Heritage sites within the region, to places of Architectural merit and to Gardens, large and small in the area. These visits are made throughout the year and feature in the programmes of the various groups.
Alongside this for many years we have organised two short midweek breaks to various parts of the country. These have been in the spring, the first a sightseeing and interest has been complete with transport, accommodation and the use of expert speakers who have valuable local knowledge, while the second has been mainly, but not exclusively, a walking holiday with social activities in the evenings
Specific meetings are set aside for the AGM in January each year and the Christmas Coffee Morning is now held at the meeting place on the third Monday of December. This meeting consists of an opportunity to meet your fellow members, enjoy Christmas food and watch a variety of 'home grown' entertainment.
