Heatons & Reddish

Walking Groups

In the early days of the Heatons Reddish U3A a group of serious walkers formed a RAMBLERS Group .

An equally serious but less strenuous group became known as the STROLLERS

Some members found the rambles too demanding but the strolls too short, so an intermediate group was formed and it became known as the MIDDLERS

Details of the Middlers and Ramblers along with their current programmes can be found by clicking here or via the links on the right of this page.

A short walking holiday is arranged each year with shorter (Middlers) and longer (Ramblers) walks each day and varied entertainment each evening.
