I joined U3A for its book group and have been a member of the Monday Book Group since 2014. In 2018 more people wished to join than could be accommodated so I set up the Thursday Group. Members suggest the books we read. These have been very varied and have all led to lively, and occasionally controversial, discussions. We are a friendly group who are happy to welcome new members.
Give us a try – I am sure you will enjoy it.
We limit the number attending so all members can make a contribution. Duplicate groups can be opened if there is someone prepared to be Group Leader.
