We are to meet in the Church in October 2022.
The group is open to anyone with an interest in the military aspects of history and no prior knowledge or expertise is necessary. The programme covers a varied selection of topics, including battles, campaigns and the ways that warfare changes over time. It will also offer visits to local battlefields and museums when these re-open.

6th January - Colditz
3rd February - Great Glen and the Battle of Naseby
3rd March - Battleships: Dominance and Decline
7th April - Lancaster Bomber
5th May - Military Airfields of Leicestershire and Rutland
Future events include
Life on the Lower Deck in Nelson’s Navy,
British Military Action in the Far East in WW2, and Verdun
