Following the success of his previous presentations, Neil brings u3a members another fascinating glimpse into ancient Egyptian history with a three-part series running on the 2nd Friday of each month in September, October & November. Book to join one or all three!

Friday 10th September Pottery in Ancient Egypt
Friday 8th October The Assyrian Conquests of Egypt

Our talk in October will look at the rise of Assyria as a major rival to Egypt and their eventual conquest. We will look at their culture and use of cuneiform.

Friday 12th November Early Explorers in Ancient Egypt

Finally in November we will join the early explorers to Egypt in ancient times thru to the 18th Century AD.
