MEMBERSHIP YEAR
Our Membership runs from 1 April to 31 March the following year. However, if you join between January and March in any year your renewal will not be due until 31 March the following year. Our rates for Membership are:

THERE ARE JUST A FEW SIMPLE STEPS TO TAKE TO JOIN GREAT GLEN u3a:

1. Please take a few moments to read our Information Sheet before submitting your Membership Application Individual form or Membership Application Joint. The basis for collecting your details is also shown on our legitimate interest assessment. Details of our Policies are to be found under Links on the right of this page.

2. Print and Complete our Membership Application Form (couples need a form each). If you need us to send you a form please phone the Membership Secretary or email Membership.

3. Send the completed form to The Membership Secretary, Great Glen u3a, 6 Wych Elm Close, Great Glen. LE8 9GY, OR email a scanned copy to membership@greatglenu3a.co.uk. Our preferred method of payment is by bank transfer. The bank details are shown on the form but please make sure we know who you are. If you prefer to pay by cheque please make this payable to "Great Glen u3a".

4. The Membership Secretary will send you a welcome letter via email, or post, but please allow 5 days for our reply. We do not normally issue Membership cards but if you need one, please ask the Membership Secretary.

You will soon have access to our many exciting groups, most of which will require a £1.50 donation per session. Please contact any of the Group leaders who will be pleased to give you details of their group. Meetings via Zoom, whether group or monthly, are free of charge. If you have supplied us with an email address you will automatically be invited to the Monthly meetings.

EMERGENCY CONTACT DETAILS
In case you are unwell at an event and we need to contact someone about your situation, please let us have details of the person you would like us to contact, after you have gained their permission. It is optional for you to give us such a contact, but it can be especially useful to Group Leaders for activities and outings away from Great Glen.

GIFT AID
As a Charity we welcome your gift aided donations (and subscriptions) so, if you are a tax payer and would like to help us this way, please complete our gift aid declaration form when you join. Couples may use one form if only one is a tax payer, or you may wish to complete one each.
