Water Activities
We meet regularly on Friday afternoons at the Crawley Mariners' Yacht Club, on Hedgecourt Lake, off the A264, Felbridge, from the end of April to the beginning of December.
We meet at 2 pm, and bookings are taken every week for about ten people.
We have three qualified instructors and several single and double kayaks. There is an opportunity for any sailors to take out a Laser 13, and one member brings her SUP.
Safety is important to us, and everyone is provided with a buoyancy aid.
We enjoy our trips around the Lake and up the stream through the woods. There are so many birds to be seen!
Come and visit us. Bring a picnic! We finish with some refreshments at about 4.30 PM. Sessions cost just £5.
There is an opportunity in the summer holidays for our more experienced paddlers to help with the children and young people from Lambeth for a fun session on the Lake. Nine members helped with this last year.
