Ukulele

Group Leader: Terry Ferguson

The ukulele has grown rapidly in popularity over the last ten years or so. Many Primary Schools have begun to use it, mainly because of the size and the relative cheapness of the instrument. The ukulele only has four strings, making it easier to play than the guitar. We don’t read music, we play by chords. The group has been in existence for some time, meeting for a one- hour session twice each month. Our membership is varied, from beginners to established players. New members are always welcomed and encouraged. Our singing abilities are very varied but we all enjoy the sessions. If you are interested please come along and see what we do.

Meets 1st and 3rd Fridays, 10:00am, Padiham Road Methodist Church, Ightenhill, Burnley.
