Indoor Bowls
Group Leader: Pat Ferguson
We are a lively, convivial group, formed in 2014, and meet twice monthly between autumn and early summer for a couple of hours of gentle exercise and light-hearted, friendly competition.
The winner of each session is awarded a small trophy to keep until next time. Everyone likes to win, of course, but we play for the enjoyment and no-one is too intense. It’s as much about the social interaction as the game and we always have plenty of laughs along the way.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve never bowled before: anyone can do it. Equipment is provided so come along and give it a try. You will be made most welcome and you never know, you may get hooked!
We meet at 10:00 a.m. on the first and third Thursday of each month at Padiham Road Methodist Church, Burnley
