Book Group

We meet on the third Monday in the month, 10 am to midday in the Hameldon Room, at the Unitarian church, Padiham. We are a small, friendly group, usually around ten in number.

We read a selected book each month and a member leads a review/discussion at the next meeting. Our choice covers a wide range and encourages us look at authors we may not have read before. This year we are reading some "feel good" books.

Our current list is:

15th April : The Glass Painter's Daughter by Rachel Hore

20th May : The Sewing Machine by Natalie Fergie

17th June : Friday Nights by Joanna Trollope

15th July : The Wood by John Lewis Sempel

We will not be meeting in August but the list for the rest of the year will be discussed as we welcome suggestions from out membership

Group Leader: Marilyn Jones
