Creative Writing
Our group meets in the morning of the 1st Wednesday of the month.
The Group Convenor is Lesley Leslie who writes;
We started life in 2009, as Creative Writing 2, but in January 2020 we're the only Writing Group. We are a small, friendly group, meeting every first Wednesday morning, at my house. We start with tea or coffee, and have a bit of a chat, then it's story time. We tend to write to the same title, or idea, so it is amazing how very different the outcomes are.
Recently we have written - Rain; The Stranger; The River; Knight in Shining Armour. It's good fun writing our own stories and then listening to everyone's. It doesn't feel like homework (actually it does sometimes!), but it is well worth the effort.
