Ukulele

You can't help but smile when you see someone playing one of these!
Ever thought of joining the increasing numbers of people playing the ukulele? Forget images of George Formby peering into windows and hanging around lamp posts!
Anyway, even though George did occasionally play a "classic" ukulele, most people remember him with a Banjo-ukulele, or Banjolele.
I've been playing for the last few years having previously played Guitar. I prefer the simplicity of the ukulele and it's ease of transport. One usually goes with me on holiday!
You don't need any musical experience and there is no need to be able to read musical notation.
All you need is a ukulele, a willingness to learn something new and a desire to have some fun!

We meet on the middle two Tuesday's at 1:00pm. We have a maximum of 12 members. Anyone else will be put on a waiting list.

We now have a name!!...The BaD Ukes.
