Monthly Meetings

Our next Monthly Meeting will be held on Tuesday 28th May 2024

Our guest speaker is Kevin Byron. He will give a presentation on a combination of History, Art and Science entitled "Geometry in art and decoration".

Our Monthly General Meeting is held on the 4th Tuesday of each month except December. Doors open at 1.30pm for a 2pm start. The location is Branston Village Hall, Lincoln Road, Branston, LN4 1PA (opposite entrance to Branston Hall Hotel).

The meeting fee is £1.00p for members and £2.00p for visitors/non-members. Tea/coffee and biscuits are served from 1.30pm until 1.50pm to enable members to socialise and swap news and views with each other. Business matters are discussed at 2.00pm and the talk begins at approx. 2.20pm. The meeting usually finishes by 3.30pm.

At our December 2023 meeting, we had a Tea Dance
The food and service was provided by Sue Kind
and was enjoyed by all.
We were entertained by James' rendition of one of Roald Dahl's Rotten Rhymes.
Marcus lead the dancing and conducted the choir singing carols

Dates for your Diary
Tue May 28th Kevin Byron will give a talk on a combination of history, art and science entitled "Geometry in art and decoration".
Tue Jun 25th James Hewson will entertain us with a talk titled, A wild "Toggers"" life. Toggers is a term (not of endearment) with ref to Photographers.
Tue Jul 23rd Ex Det Chief Sup Brightmore will give us a presentation entitled "My war with the Mafia".
