Introduction

Travel through the ages as we explore history in its broadest sense. A friendly group with wide ranging interests in all aspects of history.

We meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 2.30 until 4.30 in the Cheviot Centre

  • 5th March - Judith Oughton: ‘Georgian Bling: the history of cut steel jewellery’
  • 2nd April - "The New Hartley Mining Disaster", David Douglas
  • 7th May - "Life of Karl Faberge & History of the Imperial Eggs" - Mrs Olga Douglas
  • 4th June - 'The Dalziel family of Wooler' - Jeremy Carr
