Gardening volunteers needed
We are looking for a few U3A members who have an interest in gardening who could volunteer a couple of hours a week as part of a group helping to tidy up the community garden behind the Cheviot Centre. The main tasks will be light weeding and pruning. It will be enjoyable and sociable as well as being very helpful! Enthusiasm more important than expertise!
If you are interested please contact Gill Brooks.

Over the next few months, an updated u3a logo (see bottom of column on the right) and more relevant current descriptions of what u3a is and does will appear on local, regional and UK-wide websites and in printed or electronic publications.
