Book Clubs
Wollaton U3A – Book Group 1
We meet at 11.00 am on the third Thursday of each month in the snug of the Admiral Rodney pub in Wollaton, apart from in August when it was decided not to meet. The members plan their reading together and have read a wide variety of books since the group began.
As well as everyone reading the same selected book, there are a number of meetings when members choose a book to talk about under a shared theme.
There are currently two vacancies in the group. Anyone who would like more details or is interested in joining the group should contact Lynette by email using the link on the Contacts page.
BOOK CLUB 2
We meet every month in the snug at the Admiral Rodney. Our next meeting will be on Monday 20 February at 11.00am.
We have decided NOT to have a set book to read every month as members would prefer not to be under pressure to finish reading in time for the meeting. Instead, we talk about what we have read recently, make recommendations, and discuss whatever issues arise.
