Welcome to the recently established Wollaton U3A.
We are a friendly group of over 200 members, currently offering more than 25 Interest Groups, with more still forming.
Our monthly meeting is held at:
- St. Leonard's Community Centre, Bramcote Lane
- 4th Tuesday monthly
- 9:45 a.m. - 12:00 a.m.
This is when we get together with other members to have a coffee and a chat, discuss any U3A business and usually listen to a guest speaker.
For details of future speakers, please see the EVENTS page.
At our June monthly meeting, chairman Mike Johnson was presented with our U3A membership certificate by Jean Hogg, Regional Trustee for the East Midlands U3A. See the adjacent photograph.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BECOME A MEMBER, then please download the Membership Application and follow the instructions. Alternatively, you may contact the Membership Secretary via the CONTACT page or telephone on 0756 396 5968. If you would rather deal face to face, why not come along to one of our monthly meetings, details of which can be found above and on the EVENTS page.

If you like to meet people, learn new skills and have fun, this may be just the thing for you!
The University of the Third Age currently has over 425,000 members in the UK. It is a charitable organisation supported by its national body, The Third Age Trust, which is apolitical, non-denominational and non-profit making.
The movement, which started in France during the 1970s, is now world-wide and intended for people in their "Third Age", in other words, those no longer in full-time employment or raising a family.
We draw on the strengths and enthusiasm of all our members, who share their knowledge and skills with one another. So go to our Groups page, to see if there is anything that you would like to join in.
You may be pleased to learn that there is no curriculum, entrance qualifications or examinations!
