MOTO
MOTO (Members On Their Own)
It is hoped that this group will attract members who are on their own and seek regular companionship of other U3A friends. Group members will decide how often to meet and could get together for coffee mornings or afternoons in their own homes. The group may also arrange local outings and visits, a lunch or dinner and perhaps Jazz or musical evenings or play card games and scrabble. These events will be in a reasonable driving distance (usually with car sharing).
Each meeting is arranged by an interested U3A member in rotation and in this way we will have a variety of activities to choose from.
If you are interested in coming along to meals and outings or even wish to arrange an event you will be made warmly welcome.
MOTO is an excellent way to make new friends who will in turn introduce you to other groups.
