Walking Long

If you enjoy exploring our wonderful countryside on foot and appreciate the health benefits of strenuous walking, then this might be the group for you. Walking is simple, free and one of the easiest ways to get more active, lose weight and become healthier.

We usually meet on the 4th Thursday of the month at 10:00 for a footpath route of between 5 and 10 miles.

Whenever possible the group walks routes from the The Slow Ways Movement. The aim is to walk and classify routes between settlements (towns).
