What a great time to set up a U3A family tree research group, in the middle of the Covid lockdown, when leisure pursuits outside the home had more or less ended! A group where much of the research and meeting up could be done online at home.
The group meetings consist of presentations, help on searches and advice on how to further your information. The U3A central HQ, has also provided us with a range of superb instruction sheets to help access and use sources like manor court records, war records etc. and members have found sources like the free Strathclyde University course on researching your family history.
Why not join the group and start a new and addictive interest, and find the answer to “Who do you think you are?”
