Discussion Group
Currently the Discussion Group meets using Zoom online conference. Please use the contact form for Groups Liaison for further information.
Under normal circumstances the group meets monthly in the Royal Hotel in Bideford. Meetings are scheduled to end at noon, but have been known to overrun! Subjects discussed cover a range of local and national issues and can also include discussions of general news items as well. There is no charge to members for the venue, although coffee and biscuits are provided by the hotel, the current cost being £3 per head. The subjects can be diverse: - normally a pre-agreed subject is the main topic to be discussed, although exceptions to this may occur if unusual or unexpected events or situations arise and considered more pertinent. Of course additional subjects can be introduced as members wish.
