Discussion Group
We get together on the second Monday of every month at 2.15pm to have quite lively chats about wide ranging subjects. This year we have discussed topics such as whether Julian Assange should be extradited to the US; integrity and honesty in global politics as well as the very topical fuel crisis and the steps that we can take to ameliorate it, such as installing solar panels and using the microwave more.
The host for this last meeting had made a very delicious microwave chocolate cake which we all enjoyed with a cup of tea. We do meet in one another’s homes and would really encourage some more members to join us. The organiser at present is Hilary Beckingham and she would be pleased to hear from you.
