Enjoying Music
The content of our group is mainly classical, but in the widest sense, and could include show, film, jazz and topical music. Members would be welcome to share their own love of music with the group. Audio / visual facilities will be available that can be linked to a laptop.
A typical meeting might include a preview of music being played around Cardiff over the coming months, e.g. shows at the Wales Millennium Centre, future Concert Goers meetings, group member’s favourites, etc. It is anticipated that each monthly meeting would last a little over one hour.
There would be a small charge to cover the cost of the room and facilities. This should be no more than £1 per meeting
Following discussions with Sara Thomas, convenor of the Concert Goers Group, we see the Enjoying Music Group as being a separate group in its own right. However, we anticipate that members of the Concert Goers Group may wish to participate in this new Group.
The Enjoying Music Group will meet at the Old School, Sully, at 14.00am on the third Wednesday of the month. The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, 15 March at 2p.m.
