Bus Pass
The Bus Pass Group is unsurprisingly aimed at members with passes. We recognise that the days of qualifying for a pass at age 60 are now long gone. Day passes covering the main operators are available to all ages and others are welcome to join us. Our excursions have taken us to Morpeth, Hexham, Middlesbrough, Alnwick, Keswick and Rothbury. Bus operators receive income from our journeys so our activities do somethiing to support them. Some members of the group also have Tyne & Wear Metro annual passes (Gold Cards), which can be bought as an add-on to a bus pass, and we may make some use of these for outings. Our Convener is Mike Brown, Webmaster, but all group members are invited to arrange trips.
