Tuesday Walking Group
We continue to meet on the first and third Tuesdays of the month in
Ponteland Memorial Hall Car Park . Once car share is arranged we depart at
9.30 am.
Members of our group volunteer to plan/suggest locations for the walks and
information is circulated in advance by e mail. Occasionally we are governed
by the weather and last minute changes are made by mutual agreement.
Our walks are rarely more than an hour’s drive away from Ponteland and usually
up to 6 miles long. We take a snack lunch to enjoy en route but it is not
unknown to call in at an inviting coffee shop for additional refreshments.
We lookforward to many good days out walking, talking and discovering new
places and alsore visiting old favourites.
The Group is currently full. However, this situation can change and enquiries
