Outdoor meetings range from town walkabouts to studying an individual building, with occasional visits farther afield.
Recently the group has visited Whitchurch Silk Mill, the Milestones Museum in Basingstoke, South Coast Roofing in Littlehampton and the Green Oak Carpentry Company.
When the weather is less appealing, indoor meetings take the form of illustrated talks of general architectural interest.
Our group leader is Malcolm Hutchings. Malcolm is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors now retired from private practice. He has mainly been involved with domestic properties, specialising in older and Listed Buildings, and served for a number of years on the Management Committee of the RICS Conservation Group.
